How to get other users set up with Accurx Desktop to connect to EMIS/SystmOne/Vision

To set up new users at your organisation for the Accurx Desktop toolbar, please follow these steps πŸ‘‡ The instructions can differ depending on your medical system.

1. Accurx Desktop needs to be installed on the user's PC. See here for installation steps

2. Once Accurx Desktop is installed, the user will need to open the application and log in with their Accurx login details.

If they don't have an Accurx account, they can sign up via the steps in this article.

3. Once logged in, they'll need to ensure they only have one medical system open as the toolbar can only connect to one medical system at a time.

4. Please follow the steps below to connect to the medical system depending on the medical system of the organisation

5. After connecting to the medical system, an Accurx admin will then need to approve their account

EMIS

When joining an EMIS organisation, the user will need to configure their organisation ID to the organisation's EMIS CDB number:

  • Click on their initials in the Accurx toolbar

  • Navigate to 'Settings'

  • Change the number next to 'Organisation ID' to the organisation's EMIS CDB number

  • Click 'Refresh from Server'

After this, someone with EMAS Manager privileges will need to activate the user in EMAS Manager. This article runs through the steps on how to do this πŸ› οΈ

SystmOne
