Bold, italics, underlining and lists set up in your letter templates now carry through to the PDF letter, so what you see on screen is what gets sent.
🔄 What's changed
Richer formatting set up in your letter templates now shows on the PDF-generated letter:
Bold, italic and underlined text.
Bulleted and numbered lists show as proper lists in the PDF, rather than dash-separated lines.
The on-screen letter, copied text (Word or Outlook) and the PDF all match.
📝 How it works
Formatting is set in your letter template. For more on how templates are set up, see Creating custom templates with Template Builder.
Generate your letter and review it as usual.
Copy it into Word or Outlook, or click 'Save and send'. Your formatting is kept either way.
💡 No extra steps. If your template already uses formatting, it will now appear in your PDFs automatically.
🔍 Check your letter before you send it
Click 'Download PDF' in the Save and send window to see exactly what will be sent:
Bold, italic and underlined text should look the same as on screen.
Lists should appear as proper bullets or numbers, with indentation kept.
