You can add formatting yourself in the editor during an encounter, or set it up once in a template so every output from that template comes out formatted.
đ Format an output in the editor
Use this when you want to tidy up a single output during an encounter.
Open the encounter and go to the generated output.
Highlight the text you want to format.
Apply bold, italic, underline, a bulleted list or a numbered list. You can also use keyboard shortcuts to apply formatting (Ctrl-B, Ctrl-I, Ctrl-U, 1. , - ).
Copy or send the output as you normally would.
âď¸ Set formatting in a template
Use this when you want the same formatting every time, for example headed sections or a standard list of actions.
Open Template Builder and edit or create a template.
Go to the custom structure.
Select the text you want to format and apply bold, italic, underline, a bulleted list or a numbered list in the same way as above.
Save and publish the template.
Start a Scribe encounter using that template. The output will show the formatting you set.
đĄNeed to knows
Lists render as lists. Bulleted and numbered lists appear as real lists, with nested indentation kept and no extra blank lines before a list.
Formatting is kept when you copy. Copying an output into Word or Outlook keeps its formatting.
Existing templates aren't affected. Templates without rich text formatting generate outputs exactly as before.
Known limitations. [To confirm before publishing]
