What is it?

Our new Self-Referral feature for Patient Triage adds an option to your form, allowing patients to see a list of local services they can get in touch with directly 🏥

This option could help ease pressure on your practice, and signpost patients to the care that they need quickly and efficiently 👇

How to set-up Self Referral

The services advertised to your patients on this page are completely customisable. Here's how you can edit these 👇

  1. Click on your initials on the toolbar, then select Patient Triage.

  2. Open the Patient Triage settings.

  3. Scroll to the bottom, where you’ll find ‘Patient Self-Referral’.

  4. Click on the edit button in the bottom right ✏️

  5. Click the toggle to enable the Self-Referral option.

  6. Add your text in the box below.

  7. Click 'Save Changes'!

How should I lay it out?

There are a couple of things to take into account when designing this page. Here are some of our tips!

  1. Make sure your headings are clear and concise.

    1. Use the text dropdown to make your headings stand out 👇

    2. For example, simply make the name of the service stand out by applying the 'header' format.

  2. Ensure that you are describing each service accurately and simply.

  3. Add some examples of certain situations or conditions that each service might be used for 👇

  4. Make sure you add the link to the service!
