This feature is available to Accurx Desktop with access to Patient Triage.

Only Accurx users with 'Admin' status can customise Patient Triage settings.

Currently, it's not possible to amend the sections under medical and admin requests (except Repeat prescription under admin and Self-referral on the main page).

However, there are a number of settings that can be amended. πŸ‘‡

Availability of the form:

General out-of-hours and daily limit

You are now able to individually set your working hours for each day of the week and Bank Holidays. You can specify the from and to times in 30-minute slots (e.g. 08:30 to 18:00).

You can also set a daily limit for how many Patient Triage requests you can receive on a given day! πŸŽ‰

Within this section of the settings, you can decide the following πŸ‘‡

  • No requests allowed out of core hours (patients will not be able to submit any requests during out-of-hours)

  • Admin requests only allowed out of core hours (this will allow only admin requests to be received during out-of-hours)

  • Both admin and medical requests allowed out of core hours (this will allow all requests to be submitted out of hours)

  • Requests counted towards the daily limit (either medical requests only or both admin and medical requests)

Suspend Patient Triage

The Temporary Suspend feature can help practices manage demand and reduce the risk of your practice feeling overwhelmed.

Custom messaging

You can customise Patient Triage to include your own wording on some parts of the form. πŸŽ‰

The sections that can be customised are πŸ‘‡

  • Forms available message

  • Form submitted

    • Confirmation message

    • Proxy text message confirmation

  • Form unavailable

    • Outside of form hours message

    • Limit reached message

    • Suspended patient triage message

⚠️ The custom text/paragraph message can't be broken into segments right now.

Custom forms:

Routine care

The Routine Care form can be switched off via the Patient Triage settings under 'Forms' πŸ‘‡

Repeat prescriptions

If you have a repeat prescriptions service already in place, you can customise Patient Triage so that patients are signposted to the existing service.

By default, the option to show repeat prescriptions to patients is turned off.

Patient self-referral

This feature allowed you to add an option to your form, allowing patients to see a list of local services they can get in touch with directly πŸ₯
