We've built Conversations to help you quickly get up to speed on your conversation history with a specific patient, by viewing all the text messages you've sent and received from them in one place.
How do I send a text message to a patient?
Through Accurx Web, you can easily text your patients from either your mobile or desktop. We've written a separate support article to explain this in more detail.
How do I view a specific patient's message history and message them?
⚠️ Please note - You’ll need to repeat this process every time you want to message a different patient.
Step 1: Log in to https://web.accurx.com/login using your NHS credentials
Step 2: Search for a single patient or select one from your Patient List
Step 3: Click on My Conversations ⬇️ Here you can find all of the conversations you've had with this patient. The most recent messages will always show up at the top of the page.
Step 5: Click on the conversation you want to reply to and then click on the 'Message Patient' button at the bottom centre of the page to start composing a message to the patient.
What messages will I be able to view in Conversations?
You can view all the messages you have sent and received from the patient since you started using Accurx web.
How will I be notified when a patient responds?
When a patient replies to your message, you will receive a notification in the navigation bar on Accurx Web and an email notification in your NHS email inbox (Note: this is the email you use to log in to Accurx Web)
. The email will contain a secure link to access the patient’s response and will open in a new tab on your personal device. You will need to be logged into Accurx Web for the reply to open.
How are patient messages stored?
We store all messages and images securely in line with information governance and security processes. Read more on Accurx Web: IG and Security.
