Here's how to create custom email templates πŸ‘‡

Avoid writing the same email manually by creating your own custom Accumail templates to use repeatedly alongside our existing pre-written Accumail templates.

To get started, please open up Accumail on your Accurx Desktop toolbar.

With Accumail open, select "Compose New Message" open up the list of Templates and click "+ Create and manage templates" at the bottom of the list.

This will open up the Accumail template management page in your internet browser.

You can create the template either for your own personal use by having the "My templates" tab selected or have it available for the whole practice by selecting

"* Your Practice Name* templates" and "Accurx templates" is a list of all our pre-written templates which can't be edited or removed as shown in the gif below πŸ‘‡

Once you've decided who the template is for, please select "Create New Template".

Here, you can start drafting your template. Firstly, you'll need to name the template in "Template title". Then moving on to the body of the email, you can add the message you want to place into the template.

If you select a 'patient detail' field option, this means that when you select the template in the toolbar, we'll automatically fill it with information from the patient's record. If the record doesn't have that information, we'll leave it blank for you to fill in manually.

This includes:

  • Patient phone number

  • Patient address

  • GP phone number

  • GP address

⚠️ These options are only available in Accumail custom templates and not in patient SMS messaging templates.

(Everything that's in the grey box cannot be edited and will be added to the email body by default.)

You also have the option to undo and redo actions whilst drafting your template.

SNOMED Codes

🌟 You also have the option to add SNOMED codes to the template, these will be saved to the patient record when sending the email. 🌟

As soon as you're happy with the template, please select "Save template" at the bottom of the page.

You'll be taken back to the Manage Accumail templates page. You can add further edits by selecting "Edit" or delete the template by selecting "Delete".

If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to chat with us using the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. πŸ‘‰
