Accurx Batch messaging is a paid for feature in a premium tier of Accurx Desktop.

Learn more about Accurx Plus, including how to get access here.

You can now create your own templates to send out via Batch messaging. You can also make any existing templates in your Accurx Desktop toolbar available for Batch messaging and share your personal templates with your colleagues! πŸŽ‰

How to create a new template for Batch messaging

1) Click on your initials on your Accurx Desktop toolbar and then click "Manage Organisation" in the dropdown list:

2) Once the Manage Organisation web page loads, select 'Templates & Floreys questionnaires'.

3) Choose from either "My Templates" or your Organisation's Templates

My Templates - Creating a template under "My Templates" will mean the template is only visible to you and cannot be accessed or edited by anyone else.

Organisation Templates - Creating a template under your organisation templates (e.g. "The AccuRx Practice (29392) Templates") will mean the template can be seen and edited by anyone in your organisation.

4) Click "Create New Template".

5) You will now be able to compose your template. Give your template a title and add content. You can assign a category that groups your template to make it easier to find in the template dropdown or add a SNOMED code! 😁

You can also add an attachment to your templates πŸ“

6) To ensure your template is available in Batch messaging, tick the "Batch" box under "Template settings" πŸ‘‡

β€‹βš οΈ Please note: you can not currently send out batch messages with links to allow patients to reply with free text or photos. The "Default reply setting" shown in the image above is for individual text messages only. If you create a template and tick this box, your batch messages will be sent out without links for patients to reply to. ⚠️

7) Click "Save Template" when you are finished composing your template.

How to make an existing template available for sending through Batch messaging

You can make any of the existing templates you have created for individual messaging available for Batch messaging. This includes:

  • Templates you have created for yourself.

  • Templates your colleagues team have shared across the organisation.

  • Accurx's pre-built templates.

To do this:

1) Go to the "Templates and Florey Questions" section of the Manage Organisation page. (Follow steps 1 and 2 above).

2) Use the toggles on the right-hand side of the template to select whether a template is available to share with individual patients, batches of patients or both.

DONE! βœ…

You can now find your new template in the drop-down when you're sending a batch message πŸŽ‰

⚠️ Please note: you can not currently send out batch messages with links to allow patients to reply with free text or photos. If you select a template which has a response link attached by default, your batch messages will be sent out without links for patients to reply. ⚠️

If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to chat with us using the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. πŸ‘‰
