Accurx Scribe Offline Mode lets you capture consultations on the mobile app even in low or no connectivity areas. The transcription syncs automatically once you're back online, so nothing is lost to a dropped signal.

Setting up
Offline Mode is enabled on your account by the Accurx team. Once it's enabled, the only thing you need to do is make sure your mobile app is up to date 👇

On Apple iOS:
Open the App Store
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Scroll to find Accurx; if an update's available, tap Update next to it
If it's not listed, your app's already up to date
On Android:
Open the Google Play Store
Tap your profile icon (top right)
Tap Manage apps & device
Find Accurx in the list. If an update's available, tap Update

How it works
Once Offline Mode is enabled and your app is up to date, it works automatically whenever the mobile app detects low or no connectivity 🛜
You don't need to activate it or remember to switch anything on before a consultation. When offline, you will see a message telling you that Scribe is in offline mode 👇
Scribe normally. You should see a notice stating that your recording has been saved 👇
When you come back online, your transcription will sync automatically. You may need to refresh your screen, or close and reopen the app to see the output.
You should see all of your consultations Scribed offline in the side bar, and they will begin to generate when you select each one:
Using Scribe across mobile and web
Offline Mode is mobile-only. If you normally use Scribe on your computer, record the consultation on the Accurx mobile app when you're in a low or no connectivity environment 📱
Once you're back online, move to your computer on Accurx Web or Desktop to generate your notes and any downstream documents.
FAQs
Q: How long will my Scribe consultation be kept for?
A: Your offline Scribe note will be retained for 30 days before being deleted. If you do not come back online within this time, your note will be lost.
Q: Can I see my previous notes when I'm offline?
A: No. You will not be able to see your previous notes whilst offline.
Q: Can I view the transcription whilst I'm offline?
A: No. You will need to be online for your Scribe consultation to upload and process.
