There are times when you may send a Batch Message that you do not want to save to the patient's medical record.

Accurx users have the ability to custom select what is saved to the record for Batch Messages and we'll run through all the different options in this article.

To make this possible, we've added a 'Save message to record' option (shown below) πŸ‘‡

This feature works in the same way for Batch SMS, Batch Self-Book and Batch Florey 😊

There are 4 options for Batch users:

  1. The 'Save message to record' tickbox is unticked and the SNOMED code field is empty 🚫 🚫

This will save nothing to the patient's record.

  2. The 'Save message to record' tickbox is unticked and the SNOMED code field has a SNOMED code selected 🚫 βœ…

This will save the following to the patient's record:

    • Mobile number.

    • 'SMS sent to patient'.

    • SNOMED code.

  3. The 'Save message to record' tickbox is ticked and the SNOMED code field is empty βœ… 🚫

This will save the following to the patient's record:

    • Mobile number.

    • 'SMS sent to patient'.

    • The Batch message content.

  4. The 'Save message to record' tickbox is ticked and the SNOMED code field has a SNOMED code selected βœ… βœ…

This will save the following to the patient's record:

    • Save Mobile number.

    • 'SMS sent to patient'.

    • The Batch message content.

    • SNOMED code.

Reviewing your Batch Message

The review message page will confirm whether the user has chosen to save the Batch Message to the record as shown in the picture below πŸ‘‡

(Sidenote: if the 'Save message to record' is unticked - the blue information box will not appear)

The Batch Details page will also show whether the sender unticked the save-to-record options or not as shown below πŸ‘‡

If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to chat with us using the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. πŸ‘‰
