We understand that secondary care teams rely on Accurx Web to add Scribe outputs and communications to patient records. But finding a free computer can be difficult, especially when one device is shared by large numbers of staff.
With Cross-Device Login, anyone already signed into the Accurx app on their phone can log in to Accurx Web on any computer’s browser, without typing a password or needing a one-time code.
How to use Cross-Device Login
Follow these simple steps to seamlessly transition from the Accurx app on your phone to Accurx Web on your computer:
Open Scribe on the Accurx app on your mobile device and click the ‘Open on 🖥️’ icon located in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
Note: If you don't have access to Scribe in your app, open your app settings, then tap 'Log in on Web'.
The app will prompt you with instructions. On your computer's browser, open the unique QR code page: http://web.accurx.com/qr
Use the Accurx app to scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen.
You will then be automatically logged into Accurx Web on your computer and if you navigated here through Scribe, you will be redirected straight to the Scribe interface.

If you open a specific Scribe note on your phone and then click the ‘Open on 🖥️’ icon from within that note, you will be automatically redirected to that exact note on your browser as well. This allows for a completely seamless hand-off of your Scribe notes.

The Cross-Device Login creates a standard Accurx Web session and you will remain logged into Accurx Web until you choose to log out. Please note that logging out of Accurx Web won't also log you out of the Accurx app. For security, we recommend always logging out of Accurx Web when you are done if you are using a shared computer.
