When you generate a clinic letter from an Accurx Scribe consultation, your letter signature is added to the end of the letter automatically. This article explains how to set up or edit your signature so your letters go out with the correct name, title, and contact details.

Your letter signature is set at an individual account level, so you only need to set it once, and it will apply to all letters you generate going forward.

Setting up your letter signature

  1. In Accurx Web, click the settings cog in the top right of the screen and select Settings.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Account, then select Signatures.

  3. In the Letter Signature section, enter your signature as you'd like it to appear on your letters (up to 250 characters). We recommend including your name, title and qualifications, for example, "Dr Joe Bloggs, Consultant Cardiologist, GMC XXXXX". You can also include your secretary's contact details.

  4. Click Set letter signature.

That's it! Your signature will now appear on any letters you generate from your Scribe consultations going forward.

Please note: the Letter signature is separate from the Message signature at the top of the same page. The Message signature is added to text messages sent using templates, and won't appear on your Scribe letters. Please make sure you enter your details in the Letter Signature section and click Set letter signature.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I don't set a letter signature?

If the Letter Signature field is left blank, your letters will default to showing the name on your Accurx account.

Will my existing letters update with my new signature?

No, your signature is added when a letter is generated, so updating it applies to letters you generate from then on. Letters you've already generated won't change.

I work across multiple workspaces. Can I set a different signature for each one?

No, your letter signature is set at an account level, so the same signature applies across all workspaces you work in.
