All Patient Triage submissions land in the Patient Triage folder in your Accurx Inbox, so your team has a single, seamless workflow instead of checking multiple locations. Any approved Accurx user within your workspace can view and action these requests.
How do I action a patient request in the inbox?
Once a request has come in and been matched to a patient on your EMIS/SystmOne/Vision record (see this article for more on matching), you can:
Review the request and save it to the record.
Reply, note, prioritise, assign the conversation or mark as done.
From the same screen, you can:
Reply directly to the patient
Add an internal note for your team
Mark the request as urgent
Assign the conversation to the right team or individual
Mark as done once the request has been fully actioned
Sending a patient a Questionnaire or Self-Book link
While you're in a patient's conversation, you might also want to send them a Questionnaire to gather structured information, or a Self-Book link so they can book their own appointment.
Questionnaires let you collect specific information from a patient by text, with responses feeding straight back into your inbox - some can even save automatically to the record with the relevant SNOMED codes. Find out how to send a Questionnaire here.
Self-Book lets you send a patient a unique link to book themselves directly into your appointment book, without needing to call the surgery. Find out how to send a Self-Book link here.
