You can get an overview of all Accurx messages relating to a patient.
This includes accessing messages via the clinical system integration or directly through the Accurx Inbox.
To do this, open the patient in EMIS/SystmOne/Vision, click the inbox icon on the toolbar, then click the patient's name under "EMIS Patient" / "SystmOne Patient" / "Vision Patient".
Alternatively, you can access patient messages directly in the Accurx Inbox by clicking the three dots (...) in the bottom-left corner, selecting Search for a patient, and entering the patient’s NHS number or other identifying details.
Messages are sorted chronologically by most recent action in the "Open" and "Done" sections. "Open" means any conversations that are currently active in your organisation for that patient. "Done" means any conversations that have been marked as Done (including Sent and Scheduled messages).
To retrieve copies of messages sent to GPs, patients should request them directly from their GP practice, as these messages are stored within the medical record. Alternatively, if the patient has an email receipt from when the message was sent, it may include a link to the conversation for reference.
Please note: For patient data security, when accessing a patient's Accurx link (eg. document attachment link, Self-Book link, Questionnaire link, response link), the patient will receive a one-time code to verify the access. This means that users at the organisation will not be able to access the link without the one-time code. More information on this in this article here.
The team is aware that some organisations have incorporated accessing these links into their internal workflows. We recognise that this requirement may impact these specific workflows and are currently investigating solutions to address these unique situations while maintaining the highest level of patient data security.
