How to change the Default Browser on your computer

Microsoft officially retired Internet Explorer in June 2022. Therefore, NHS Digital and other software providers are no longer offering support for Internet Explorer in their products. You can read more about this here βš•οΈ

As a result, our support centre live chat is no longer available on Internet Explorer πŸ’¬, and other product features aren't fully supported. However, you can still find us on Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari! πŸ’»

You might find that when you open Manage Organisation or other options from your Accurx toolbar, your computer opens up Internet Explorer. This can therefore lead to some features not working quite as they should.

Here are some steps that you can follow to change your default browser on Windows πŸ‘‡

  1. Select the Start button, and then select Settings.

  2. Click "Apps".

  3. Select "Default apps" in the menu.

  4. Under Web browser, select another browser - such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  1. Select the Apple menu, then System Preferences.

  2. Click General.

  3. Choose a supported web browser from the "Default web browser” menu.
