What format links should patients trust as an authentic invite delivered by accuBook?

From the evening of Monday 1st February, the links in the SMS invitations sent to patients in accuBook now arrive in the form:

Previously, patients would receive links in the form of 'book.nhs.me/...'.

Why have Accurx made this change?

We've made this change to maximise patient trust in the invites you send out using accuBook. We're particularly mindful that a lot of official advice to spot scams includes looking for 'nhs.uk' links as a sign they are safe.

We know the format of these links are slightly longer than the old ones. We're limited here by the rules about the use of the nhs.uk domain by third parties.

We are closely monitoring booking success rates through these links and review this change regularly.
