Why have we partnered with other organisations?

We've released Partner Floreys, which are available to all Accurx users in General Practice. To achieve this we worked alongside partners (commercial and charities).

The following are the available Partner Floreys and whom weโ€™ve partnered with:

  • Cancer Care with Macmillan

  • COPD Assessment Test (CAT) sponsored and developed with GSK

  • Urinary Tract Infection with TARGET

Whether improving care for patients with cancer, improving management of COPD or helping address antibiotic resistance, weโ€™re excited by the potential for Floreys to improve patient outcomes and experience in a wide range of areas.

We believe partner organisations such as Macmillan, GSK and TARGET can provide valuable expertise in the development of Floreys. GSK has also funded the development of the new COPD Florey, allowing us to prioritise it in time for winter and the end of the QOF year. For full transparency, Accurx will be paid for the number of COPD Floreys completed by patients. This will allow us to make some Floreys available for all practices, regardless of whether they have access to Accurx Plus.

Our promise to you

We will only work with third parties where we believe there is a genuine benefit to patients, both in outcomes and experience. We will turn down (and have already) any opportunities that do not pass this test. We will never share patient data with a commercial third party.

What data is shared?

Under no circumstances will patient responses or any other personal data be shared with any other third party. Accurx will only provide our partners with the aggregate number of Floreys sent and responded to for each practice. Find out more on Accurx IG & Security.

Releasing the new COPD Florey

Weโ€™re releasing a detailed COPD questionnaire based on the COPD Assessment Test (CAT). It will include the current MRC score, as well as:

  • The COPD Assessment Test (CAT)

  • Frequency of COPD exacerbations

  • Admissions due to COPD exacerbations

  • Smoking status, including pack years

An improved COPD Florey can help identify the need for a detailed review or other intervention, such as pulmonary rehab, appropriate prescribing as per guidelines, or smoking cessation, to be prioritised. This Florey does not reference or promote any GSK medicine.
