Your clinician may decide that they want to see you via video consultation. They will invite you to the video consultation by sending you a link either by text or email. Please follow the steps below to join your video call:

By text

  • Once you receive the text click on the link

  • It will then open your internet browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome)

  • It may take you to a screen where you need to 'Test' your microphone - allow this test, then 'click to continue'.

  • It may show you a screen where you need to click 'Request permissions' to enable your camera and your microphone

  • You should then be able to see your clinician

What do I need for it to work?

What if I don't have a smartphone or the video doesn't work on my phone?

You can also access the link on a computer. Just type it into the top of the internet browser like so:

By email

  • Once you receive the email click on the link

  • It will then open your internet browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome)

  • It may take you to a screen where you need to 'Test' your microphone - allow this test, then 'click to continue'

  • It may show you a screen where you need to click 'Request permissions' to enable your camera and your microphone

  • You should then be able to see your clinician

Video consultation links are available for 24 hours.
