This article talks about a feature of our Accurx Desktop toolbar for EMIS/SystmOne/Vision GP organisation.

To see the SMS history of a patient:

  1. Open the patient in EMIS/SystmOne/Vision

  2. Click on the Inbox icon from the toolbar

  3. Click on the patient's name under 'EMIS patient' / 'SystmOne patient' / 'Vision patient'

Here is a video demonstrating how it works:

Messages are sorted chronologically by most recent action in the 'Open' and 'Done' sections.

  • 'Open' means any conversations that are currently active in your organisation for that patient.

  • 'Done' means any conversations that have been marked as Done (including Sent and Scheduled messages).

In every message, you can see the sender, along with the respective delivery status: (What do delivery receipts mean?):

Please note: For patient data security, when accessing a patient's Accurx link (eg. document attachment link, Self-Book link, Questionnaire link, response link), the patient will receive a one-time code to verify the access. This means that users at the organisation will not be able to access the link without the one-time code. More information on this in this article here.

The team is aware that some organisations have incorporated accessing these links into their internal workflows. We recognise that this requirement may impact these specific workflows and are currently investigating solutions to address these unique situations while maintaining the highest level of patient data security.
