Accurx Patient Triage frees up your phone lines and saves you time with simple online access for your patients, using a solution that is fully integrated with your clinical system π»
We're making a few changes to the Patient Triage, mainly the landing page which is the first page patients will see.
What's changing?
Title of the Patient Triage landing page
We will change the title of the Patient Triage landing page to say "What would you like help with?" rather than "Contact us about your request" or "Outside of Core Hours" and "Temporarily unavailable" (when accessing the page outside of the practice's defined hours, or when the form is suspended manually / due to a practice-defined limit of submissions being reached).
This is because there are usually other options available in the form other than contacting a practice in these states.

Temporarily Unavailable subsection
We have updated the form to show the options that are suspended under a new "Temporarily Unavailable" subsection - so patients know what options are not available at that time and are informed of what is available once the form re-opens.

Online advice and Self-refer options
"Online advice" and "Self-refer" used to be hidden when Patient Triage was outside of core hours or temporarily suspended.
However, these options will now be consistently surfaced (if configured in the case of "Self-refer").
Other wording changes
With the changes to the form, we are making slight changes to the default customisable warnings and also some changes to add clarity to options in the form.
Examples of this include π
Admin query π I have an admin query
Medical request π I want help for a medical issue
The descriptor text is being updated to reflect which options trigger contact to the practice vs directing elsewhere.
If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to chat with us using the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. π
