We have a new update that lets admin users disable medical/admin requests.

There are a few options when using the temporary suspend feature πŸ‘‡

  • Disable both Medical and Admin Requests

  • Disable medical requests only. Patients will still be able to submit admin requests.

  • There is no feature to temporarily disable admin requests alone.

The suspension will temporarily override the out-of-hours settings of the patient triage form.

How to allow admin requests only

To enable this:

1) Go into Patient Triage and click on "Settings" πŸ‘‡

2) Then scroll down to "Suspend Patient Triage" and click the toggle to enable this. Here you will see where it says "Suspend medical request access only" πŸ‘‡

Then following this:

3) Set a resumption date & time (no longer than 4 days from when you switch it on), along with a reason for suspending.

4) Click "Save changes"

What your patients will see:

  • Patients will be informed that Patient Triage is temporarily unavailable, and shown when the link will be re-enabled. However, it will still let them submit an admin request.

  • Patients will be prompted to use NHS 111 online or to find a local pharmacy or urgent treatment centre

Version 1: Temporarily disable with Disable Medical Request Access Only enabled πŸ‘‡ (Allowing admin requests)

Version 2: Temporary Disable switched on πŸ‘‡

Version 3: No temporary disable has been switched on πŸ‘‡
