Accurx Desktop: Using the same account at more than one practice

Using your existing Accurx login when you work across multiple practices

You can use the same Accurx account for multiple practices 😊 Just log in with your existing details — there's no need to create a new account each time you move between sites.

You can use your existing Accurx login details

Log in to the toolbar as usual, using the same NHS email address and password you use at your other practice/organisation.

If it doesn't work straight away

There are just a couple of settings to check depending on which clinical system the new practice uses👇

  • EMIS — you may need to check/enable it in EMAS Manager, and the Organisation ID in your toolbar will need to match the new practice's EMIS code. We have an EMIS: Troubleshooting Guide here if you're still stuck.

  • SystmOne — you'll just need to approve Accurx as a device the first time you log in at the new site.

  • Vision — Accurx should connect automatically once you're logged into Vision at the new site.

Once it's connected, you'll see the new practice listed under Manage Organisation, and you're ready to start using Accurx there straight away.
