In order to use Accurx to communicate with patients, you'll need to ensure you have the Accurx toolbar connected. When the toolbar is ready for use, it looks like this:

Unable to see the Accurx Desktop app?
If you're a new user, there are a couple of steps to take to set yourself up with Accurx if you haven't already done them:
If you're an existing user:
Once Accurx Desktop is downloaded, launch it by double-clicking on the application or searching for 'Accurx' in your start menu.
If you can't open this, try to run our utility tool here to update.
Once Accurx Desktop is launched
If you're not logged into the toolbar, it will look like this:
Click on 'Log in' to log into your account. This article runs through how to log into your account in more detail.
If someone else is logged into the toolbar, you can log out by clicking on the settings cog, then 'Log out'.
The toolbar is showing 'Not connected'
To get your toolbar connected:
The toolbar has a lock icon
This means that your Accurx account is unapproved at this organisation and needs approval by one of the organisation's Accurx admins. This article explains how you can get your account approved.
You will still be able to send texts and do video consultations as an unapproved member.
