The Accurx App: Accepted email domains in the U.K

We have made changes to the accepted email domains when using the Accurx app, formerly known as the Accurx Switch app in the UK. This change was made to make the app more secure and ensure that only healthcare professionals can access the app.

The accepted domains include email domains listed on the NHS Secure Email Standard (DCB 1596) or domains confirmed to be used in the NHS. The list of accredited organisations can be found here.

If the email address that you used to log into the Accurx Switch app is not accepted in the Accurx app, you will need to create a new Accurx account using an accepted email address.

If you did not update your email address before 19th February 2024, you can no longer use the Accurx app using this account.

If you were not able to update your email address by this time, you will need to create a new account with an NHS-accepted email address. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer data to a new account at this time.

To create an account, please open the app or download the Accurx app on the App Store or the Play Store, making sure you choose the UK as your country.
