Give Accurx Scribe microphone access on a Mac 🍎

1. Choose "Settings" or "Preferences" from the Safari menu. This will bring up your preferences pop-up.

2. Click "Websites" at the top of the pop-up.

3. On the left sidebar, click "Microphone".

4. Click the drop-down list next to app.tandemhealth.ai, and choose "Allow".

1. Click the settings icon to the left of your address bar. A pop-up will appear with a list of options.

2. Find the Microphone setting and toggle the switch on.

Give Accurx Scribe microphone access in Edge 🎤

1. Click the lock icon to the left of your address bar. A pop-up will appear with a list of options.

2. Click the drop-down list to the right of the Microphone option, and select the option "Allow".

Testing your microphone in Accurx Scribe 🗣️

If you're having issues with audio on your Scribe consultations, it may be worth testing your microphone to ensure this is functioning as expected.

To do this:

  • Trigger the tutorial again to check if your mic is being picked up by clicking on the book icon on the left, then 'Start tutorial'.

  • This will show you which microphone your system has picked up, as well as the volume of the audio.

  • If your transcription is not picking up words correctly, please use this website to test your microphone.

    This tool will allow you to listen to your microphone recordings to spot any audio quality issues. If anything is wrong with this test, please ask your IT team for help on correcting the audio quality issue (eg check if the microphone is faulty).

Selecting your microphone for a Scribe consultation

Please ensure you have the correct microphone selected before you begin the consultation:

  1. Click 'Encounter Settings'.

  2. Click on the microphone option.

  3. Select the appropriate microphone.
