1. Open up Scribe from the top of your Accurx Web homepage
2. Start the consultation
You can easily start the consultation by clicking on "Start" in the middle of the screen.
3. Conduct the Patient Call or Dictation
You can meet with the patient as usual, while the Scribe runs in the background. You can also dictate directly into the Scribe by speaking naturally, and it will generate a complete medical note based on what you say. Accurx Scribe's AI automatically understands what information should be written under which section and how to structure the note.
Good audio: Use a reliable conference microphone. Please see here on how to set your microphone up for Accurx Scribe in Accurx Web.
Appropriate headings: Ensure your template includes all the information you want to document.
Clear instructions: Provide Tandem with precise keywords and concise summaries.
4. Create the Note
Click on "Finish and create note" when you’re done, and the Scribe will generate the note based on the conversation you just had.
ⓘ Templates: If you have multiple templates, you can choose which template you’d like Accurx Scribe to structure your note in. This can also be done in the next step.
ⓘ Resume encounter: Select "Resume Encounter if you need to resume conducting or transcribing a Scribe consultation note that has already been finished.
ⓘ Add additional text: Click "Add entry" or "Adjust" to add information, such as previous notes or a digital patient record. This will be used alongside the recording to create the medical note. You can also create a note solely based on text input, without any recording.

Tandem includes a built-in feature to automatically add more to your note or adjust your note based on your instructions using AI. Click the 'Adjust' button at the bottom of your Scribe note to open this feature.
If you only need to adjust specific parts of your Scribe note, click on the individual sections you want to change. A blue border will appear around them, and your selections will be pinned as badges above the text input. Your typed or verbalised instructions will then only apply to those selected sections.
If you don't select specific parts of your Scribe note to adjust, the typed or verbalised instructions will be applied to the whole Scribe note.
⚠️ Please review all notes and letters that you generate before copying them elsewhere.
