What does Accurx Scribe do?

Accurx Scribe uses AI to transcribe audio from a patient consultation or dictation and to summarise it into a structured form for medical notes. Clinicians can review and edit these notes, generate other documents, save these notes to the patient record and share documents with patients and other services.

How do I get started?

We have a demo of how to complete your first scribe here. For a more detailed step-by-step guide, see this article here.

We're launching to all Accurx users on Desktop and Web from 1st June 2025, with Accurx Mobile rolling out across the rest of the month. Join the waitlist to keep up with the details.

How much does it cost?

GP practices that sign up before 30th June 2025 will be able to get access to Scribe for free for 3 months. The trial will start from the date that you activate Accurx Scribe. Pricing for after the trial phase will scale based on patient list size. Contact our Partnerships team via partnerships@accurx.com to obtain a quote for your practice, or if you work in any other part of the NHS and are interested in signing up to Accurx Scribe.

Does this save to the medical record?

Yes, for those using Emis and SystmOne! Once you’ve reviewed and edited your Scribe summary, you can save it to the patient’s record. If your note includes certain key observations (e.g. height, weight, systolic and diastolic blood pressure, temperature and peak expiratory flow rate) these save to the record as SNOMED codes. For full details, see our article here. You can always edit your note and add/edit coding in EMIS and SystmOne after saving to the record.

Where can we find more training on this?

Once your organisation accepts the Terms & Conditions and opts in to use Accurx Scribe, you’ll automatically be enrolled in our comprehensive onboarding programme to help you get started with confidence.

For those in Primary care, we also have daily onboarding calls to get you started with this new feature. You can sign up for a call using this link.
