When using Accurx Desktop, information regarding consent will be presented back to you when you pull up a patient in EMIS/SystmOne/Vision and Accurx Desktop. Here's how it looks...

✔️ When a Patient has given consent for communication by SMS text messaging 👇

❓ When a Patient has no recorded objection to SMS text messaging 👇

❌ When a Patient has declined consent for SMS text messaging 👇

❗ Note that you aren't blocked from sending texts to patients that have declined consent. This is intentional so that, for instance, a clinician could send a text whilst in a consultation to their current patient who gives verbal consent ❗
