From 15 June 2026, you'll notice the icons across Accurx look a little different. Here's what's changing, why, and what (if anything) you need to do.
What's changing?
We've refreshed the icons you see throughout Accurx, including the send, search, settings, and patient icons. Most icons mean exactly the same thing as before; they've just had a visual facelift so they're crisper and easier to recognise at a glance.
You don't need to do anything - the new icons will appear automatically, and everything works just as it did before.
Why are we making this change?
We know your day is busy enough without having to squint at your screen, so we've redesigned our icons to:
Make them easier to read — the new icons are clearer and easier to tell apart, even at a glance, making Accurx more accessible for everyone.
Feel more consistent — they now look like part of the same family, so the product feels tidier and more familiar as you move around it.
Make more sense — we've updated a few icons that were a bit confusing, replacing them with symbols you'll recognise from other tools you use every day.
We've also introduced clearer icons for healthcare professionals and patients, so it's immediately obvious who's who — whatever your role.
What do the new icons look like?
Most icons keep the same symbol with a refreshed style, so everything will still feel familiar.
A small number of icons have been updated to match what you'd expect from other everyday apps and websites.

Icons we've retired
We've removed a small number of icons that were confusing or no longer needed, and replaced them with clearer alternatives. If you spot a different icon where one of these used to be, don't worry - the feature itself hasn't changed, just the symbol.
Will this change how Accurx works?
No, this is a visual update only. All your features, workflows and settings stay exactly the same. Icons are still paired with the same labels and tooltips.
You might notice that a few areas, like the Accurx mobile app, still show the older icons for now - we'll update them over time.
