When using Self-Book, organisations need to choose a slot type that they are happy for patients to book into 😊

If you can’t see the slot type that you’d like to use for Self-Book in the drop-down then it’s worth checking a few things:

  • The slot type needs to be in your appointment book with an available appointment in the next 6 weeks (12 weeks if you have the extension enabled) πŸ“†

  • The slot type must also be available for booking and can not be fully booked by patients 🌟

  • A toolbar at the organisation is logged in and connected to EMIS/SystmOne. (We use the toolbar to find slot types in the appointment book)

  • If you're looking for a new slot type that you've recently added to your appointment book, you may need to wait 24 hours for this to show. If you have active self-book links then we will automatically search your appointment book every 30 minutes. Once these have expired or have all been booked we will revert back to once every 24 hours! However, if you need to send out invites today, please contact our support team using the green message icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

If you have double-checked all of the above things and ruled them out, please chat with us using the green message icon in the bottom right-hand corner πŸ‘‰

If it's showing an incorrect amount of appointments and you need to update this, you can start a manual refresh yourself.

To do a manual refresh:

- Go to the 'Manage Organisation' page,

- Click 'New Batch Message',

- Click 'Self-Book' πŸ‘‡

Batch self-book button

That's it βœ…

Your slot types will refresh in the next 30 minutes.
