Saving to record is ticked by default when you send your Accumail message. However, we do have options to not save the message to the patients record.

When you don't want to save messages to the record

Users have the option to email other organisations via Accumail and opt-out of saving the message to the patient's record when sending.

To do this, you'll just need to untick the "Save to record" box shown below πŸ‘‡ when sending out your email

The Accumail inbox shows if a message has been saved to the record or not. Messages can be saved at a later date by clicking on 'Save to record' as shown in the screenshot below πŸ‘‡

If you choose to save a message to the record that was previously deliberately not saved, then a warning message will appear asking you to confirm the action.

Save warning message

Once saved to the record, the Accumail inbox will show when a message was saved to the record and who by.

If you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to chat with us using the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner of this page. πŸ‘‰
