How to send a video consultation invite

  • Open a new message or reply to a patient in Accurx Desktop.

  • Click the more options button, then video consultation

  • Feel free to edit the message, then click 'Send' when you're ready 🎉

Joining the video consultation 📹

Once you've sent the message, you'll find the video consultation in the conversation thread in your Inbox. Click Join video consultation to open the call in a new browser tab, or Copy link if you need to share it another way - for example with a colleague.

You (and your patient) will need a camera, a microphone (or headset), and a supported browser - see our technical requirements article for full details.

If you're seeing any errors, this article will help you quickly troubleshoot. 😊

The patient will get an automated response saying that they won't get a reply to their SMS/email.

Can they open the link on a tablet or computer?'

Yes! As long as the device has both an internet connection and the ability to receive emails.
