The message patient feature on Accurx Switch allows clinicians to quickly and easily send messages to patients directly from the app. It’s a straightforward process designed to make patient communication more efficient!
Note: Message Patient is currently being rolled out gradually, so it might not be available for everyone just yet!
To send a message 👇
To send a message to a patient, click New message.
Enter the patient's NHS number and DOB to search for the patient.
You will then see more details about the patient, pulled from the Personal Demographics Service. To send a message to the patient, review patient details and select Message patient.
You can then compose your message in the text box. If you want to give the patient the option to reply (with text or photos), tick the Allow reply box. Hit Send, and your message is on its way! 🚀
Once you've hit send, you'll see the message that you have sent to the patient
