What is the Clinical Code Exclusion List?
When you view a patient's GP record in Record View, some sensitive clinical codes are left out of the summary on purpose. đ
These are the codes included in the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) sensitive data set. Accurx doesn't return them in Record View, so they won't appear anywhere in the record summary you see.

What is the RCGP sensitive data-set?
The RCGP sensitive data-set is a list of clinical codes relating to particularly sensitive clinical information. These codes are withheld when a patient's record is shared from a GP clinical system.
The list is maintained by GP representatives from all four UK nations and the Joint GP IT Committee (JGPITC), and it's updated at regular intervals.
What types of information are excluded?
The data set covers codes relating to:

FAQs
Can I choose to see excluded codes in Record View?
Record View users can't turn off the exclusion. Codes in the RCGP sensitive data-set are never returned in Record View, whatever your role or organisation.
The exclusion doesn't change the patient's GP record in any way. The codes stay in the practice's clinical system (EMIS, SystmOne or Vision). They just aren't included in the summary shown in Record View.
Will the patient's GP practice still see these codes?
The patient's GP practice can still see these codes in their own clinical system as normal. The exclusion only applies to the record summary shared through Record View.
Why is a condition I'd expect to see missing from the record?
A condition may be missing because it's coded using a term in the RCGP sensitive data set. Check the excluded codes list and, if you need that information for the patient's care, contact the patient's GP practice.
