This article runs through the new Accurx app home page: the 'Get to know your app' checklist you'll see when you first open the app, and what your home page will look like from now on.
When you first open the app: the 'Get to know your app' checklist
The first time you land on the new home page, you'll see a short checklist called 'Get to know your app', with a percentage showing your progress.
It walks you through three key actions, and each step is ticked off as you complete it
1. Select your hospital directory
Tap this step to choose your hospital's directory. This means you can quickly find and contact the right wards, teams and services in your hospital.
2. Scribe for the first time
Tap this step to start your first Scribe consultation. Speak as you normally would, and when you're finished, tap Create note to generate your consultation note in the app.
3. Generate your first document with Scribe
Once you've created a Scribe note, you can turn it into a document (such as a clinic letter) directly in the app. You can read our guide here, which walks you through how to generate your first document with Scribe.
Collapsing the checklist: You can collapse the checklist at any time by tapping the arrow next to 'Get to know your app'. Your progress is saved, and you can expand it again whenever you like 👇
Once you've completed all three steps, you'll reach 100% and see an 'Onboarding complete' message, meaning you're ready to make the most of the Accurx app!

Once you've completed the checklist, it will no longer appear, and your home page will look like this from then on 👇
From here you can:
Start a Scribe consultation — in one tap using the 'Start Scribe' button. You'll also see a banner confirming your Trust has approved Scribe for your use.
Reach your recent contacts — the numbers and extensions you've contacted most recently, so you can get back to them quickly. If you haven't contacted anyone yet, this section will be empty until you do.
Open Quick dial — to call a number directly.
Open your GP directory — to find and contact GP practices.
You can choose which types of contacts appear under 'Recent contacts' by tapping the ⋯ button and toggling Phone numbers, Emails and GP contacts on or off 👇
Nothing about your access has changed; you can still find the Directory, your Inbox and Scribe using the navigation bar at the bottom of the app, just as before!
⚠️ It is essential that clinicians review all of their Accurx Scribe outputs before they are added to the medical record or shared with patients.
