We're Accurx: a software company that GP practices and other healthcare providers use to communicate with their patients. We're being used to invite patients to their book appointments at their practice. We're NHS-accredited and an approved supplier.

When your practice would like you to book an appointment, you'll receive a text with a link that looks something like this:

book.accurx.com

This link will allow you to book your appointment as requested by your GP practice:

1.Enter your Date of Birth

2. Select an appointment date and then a time slot 📆 , when you're done click 'continue'

3. You'll be able to review your appointment on the next screen and change the time if you've changed your mind. If you're happy with your selected time click 'continue' 😊

4. The next screen will be a loading page as we check this appointment time is available at your practice, it shouldn't take too long 🤞 during this time try not to refresh your page 🕐

5. Once we've confirmed the booking with your practice, you'll receive a booking confirmation screen like this 👇 as well as a confirmation text message 👍

I'm struggling to access my link

If you don't have a smartphone or are having trouble using your link on your phone, you can visit this page:

accurx.thirdparty.nhs.uk

Here you can type in the unique code in the box and it will take you to your link 👇

I'm worried about the safety of this link

It's completely understandable to be wary of clicking on a link you've been sent. This article walks through how you can check we're legitimate and shows you our listing on the NHS website.

Do let us know if you have any feedback or questions! 😊
