What to do next when you receive a 'no appointments available' message when trying to book in your covid vaccination

So you have been sent a link to book in your covid vaccine (which looks like this: accurx.nhs.uk), entered your Date of Birth and now you have received this error message below πŸ‘‡

Please don't panic πŸ”” This means that there are currently no appointment slots for you to book into at the vaccination site right now. The reason for this is that GP's receive a certain amount of vaccine doses in each shipment and need to make sure that these are all used. GP's will invite patient lists that are greater than the vaccine supply to account for some patients who have booked elsewhere or don't want the vaccine. This is to ensure that there are no wasted vaccines due to low uptake.

What should I do next?

We advise you to keep checking your link everyday and then you will be able to book your vaccine appointment as soon as a slot becomes available. Slots can become available frequently due to other patients canceling or by more appointment slots being added.

How long should I wait? πŸ“†

Unfortunately, we can't disclose how long you should wait as we don't have access to see when appointment slots will next become available at your practice.

Can you book my appointment for me?

As much as we would like to help you book your covid vaccination, as mentioned previously, we don't have access to the clinic's availability to do this for you.
