If you have access to a desktop with a working webcam and microphone, you can do a video consultation from your desktop. Here's how 👇

Step 1
After you have selected the patient in EMIS/SystmOne and clicked on the video icon on the Accurx Desktop toolbar, make sure that 'On this computer' is selected as shown in the picture below.

Step 2

You can click on either "Mobile" or "Email" to send the link to the patient. If you choose phone, you will need to enter the patient's mobile number, or if you click "email", their email address:

Step 3

Then click "Send now".

Step 4

Once the message has been sent to the patient, you'll see it appear in the patient's message history. From here you can just click "Join video consultation now" and it will open the video consult in a supported web browser (e.g. Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome).

From here you can continue your video consultation as normal 🙂
