There are two versions of Self-Book:

  • Self-Book in Patient triage (Telephone Appointments)

  • Self-Book for Face to Face appointments

Self-Book in Patient triage (Telephone Appointments)

Self-Book (Telephone) is only available to practices with Patient Triage, a paid Accurx feature.

Practices with access to this version of Self-Book can find it in the Accurx inbox.

Using this feature, practices can choose which online consultation requests need a telephone appointment 📞 and invite these patients to book in at a later date. Self-Book (Telephone) can only be used for telephone appointments. You can find out more information about how Self-Book (Telephone) works here.

Self-Book for Face to Face Appointments

Self-Book (Face to Face) is available to all practices. 🎉

This feature can be accessed from the "Compose a message" screen in Accurx after clicking on the message icon on the little green Accurx toolbar.

Using this feature, any practice can add a unique booking link to a text message sent through Accurx and patients can use the link to book into a specific slot type specified by the practice. Self-Book (Face to Face) can only be used for appointments that are at the surgery and cannot be used for telephone appointments.
