You'll get notified on your Accurx toolbar when you receive a reply to an Accumail message you've sent or when you receive a message from other healthcare professionals and services as part of a new conversation. This notification will look similar to this πŸ‘‡

Who will be notified of new messages?

Who in your practice is notified of a new message depends on the type of message received, whether it's

  • a reply to an existing conversation in Accumail or

  • a new message as part of a new conversation.

Who is notified of a reply to an existing conversation?

Only the current assignee of the conversation will receive a notification of a reply to this conversation. By default, the sender of the first message in the conversation will be the assignee of the conversation.

If you're the assignee of the conversation then, as well as appearing in the All view, this message will appear in your Assigned to your view, as in the screenshot below πŸ‘‡

Who is notified of a new message that's part of a new conversation?

Only those who are part of the Accumail Unassigned group will be notified of incoming messages that are part of a new conversation. All of these messages will appear in the All view but to help you find incoming messages which don't have an assignee, these messages will all appear in the Unassigned view.

The notification will appear on both the Unassigned view and the All view as in the screenshot below πŸ‘‡

To view the message, click on the conversation in the inbox which has the notification.

The notification will disappear* from both the Unassigned view and the All view as the Unassigned view is just a filtered view of the All view. *The red counter may not completely disappear if you still have other conversations in the inbox with unread messages. In this instance the read counter will decrease by the number of messages that were previously unread in the selected conversation.

How do I change who is in the Accumail Unassigned group?
