If you're a patient who's been sent a link by your healthcare provider you can now use NHS Login to access the information sent to you and more!

What is NHS login?

NHS login is a safe and secure way for you being able to access information and action any instructions sent to you by your registered healthcare providers (your GP surgery or hospital).

What does NHS login look like?

When you see the below icon, it means you can use NHS login to access information about your health.

How to set up NHS login

Where can I go to use NHS login?

Accurx has integrated NHS login with our products meaning you can access information sent to you about your health safely and securely.

By clicking on the link, you will be asked to either;

  1. Access your information by using your date of birth.

  2. Use NHS login to access your information.

Accessing information about your health via NHS login means you can also see previous conversations you've had with your healthcare providers.

Do I need to have an account to use NHS login?

Yes. You do need to have an account to use NHS login. However, it's likely you already have one if you used the NHS Covid-19 Pass app or any other health and care-related service.

What if I don't remember my NHS login?

When you select the option to use NHS login, you will be prompted to enter your email. If you have an NHS login account then you will be told this after entering your email. See the example below.

What if I don't have an NHS login account?

If you enter your email and find that you don't have an account then you will be prompted to create one.

I can't remember the password for my NHS login

When entering a valid email you will be prompted to enter your password after. If you think you have forgotten this then you will see the option to reset your password.

I'm still having issues.

Accurx and NHS login are two separate organisations so there is a limit to what we (Accurx) can do to help when trying to login via NHS login. However, NHS login has a Support team which you can contact via their website here.

What happens after I've logged in?

You'll be directed back to the page owned by Accurx. There will be a message sent to you by your registered healthcare provider.

The message might be one or more of the following message types;

  • A reminder about your upcoming appointment,

  • A request for you to complete a questionnaire,

  • A standard SMS,

  • A standard SMS requesting that you respond with further information (and the option to include a photo),

  • A request for you to book an appointment.

The page will look something like the one below.

For further information on accessing the information sent to you and further features available to you by using NHS login please visit our help centre here.
