Accurx Scribe: Template Library

This article explains how to browse and use ready-made templates from the Scribe Template Library.

Written by Helen

A full library of gold-standard, ready-made templates is now available in Accurx Scribe. These templates cover a wide range of specialties and use cases, so you can get started quickly without building a template from scratch.

The Template Library is designed to enrich your existing list of templates, giving you more options to choose from when starting a consultation.

πŸ“š What is the Template Library?

The Template Library is a collection of gold-standard Scribe templates created by the clinicians at Tandem to cover common consultation types across different specialties. These templates are ready to use straight away and can be added to your workspace's template list.

This is different from the Template Builder, which lets you create or edit templates from scratch. The Library gives you a head start β€” you can browse what's available, add a template to your list, and start using it immediately.

πŸ“Œ How to access the Template Library

  1. Open Scribe from Accurx Web or Desktop.

  2. Go to your templates. Click the settings option on the bottom left of your Scribe page, followed by 'Templates' πŸ‘‡

  3. Browse the Template Library. You'll see the library of ready-made templates alongside your existing templates. Browse by specialty or use case to find what's relevant to you.

  4. Add a template to your list. Select a template from the library to add it to your list. Once added, it will appear in your template list when you start a new Scribe session.

πŸ” What templates are available?

The library includes templates across a wide range of specialties and consultation types. Whether you're running an outpatient clinic, clerking a patient, writing up a ward round, or working in a specific specialty, there are templates designed for your workflow.

The library is regularly updated with new templates as they become available.

πŸ’‘ Tips

  • Use library templates as a starting point. If a template is close to what you need but not quite right, you can duplicate it and customise it using the Template Builder.

  • Combine with Memories. Once you've added a template, you can use Memories to fine-tune how Scribe writes under each heading, without changing the template structure itself.
