The directory in the Accurx app is where you can find all the phone numbers, extensions, and bleeps for a hospital.
Note: The directory is separate from your Workspace in the Accurx app. You don't need to change your Workspace to access a hospital's phone numbers. You can read more about Workspaces on the Accurx app here.
If you need to switch to a different hospital's directory, it’s easy to do!
How to switch directories in the Accurx app
To switch your directory, select the Directory within the Accurx app and select the name of the hospital directory that you're currently accessing.
2. You'll see a search bar where you can search for the directory of the hospital that you want to access. Simply type the hospital name into the search bar, then click on it to access the directory.
How to search for contacts in the directory
Simply search for the name of the contact in the hospital's directory.
2. If the contact you're searching for isn't in the directory, you can select 'Add new contact' and add the contact to the directory.
Note 💡: You can easily differentiate between the various contact types in the directory by following the colour-coding: blue indicates extensions, yellow signifies phone numbers, and pink refers to bleep numbers.
How to edit contacts in the app
Open the directory and search for the contact that you wish to edit.
Select the three vertical dots (⋮) beside the contact and select the Edit button.
Here you can update the contact by changing the contact type (choosing from a bleep, extension, or phone number), renaming the contact, or updating the contact number box.
Select Edit contact once you're done updating the details, and the contact will be automatically updated in the app for all users.
Note 💡: You can only edit contacts listed in the Hospital Directory. It is not currently possible to update contacts or website information in the GP Directory. If you notice out-of-date information there, please reach out to our Support team via the green message bubble in the bottom right-hand corner.
