Does the Accurx app have biometric and PIN security?
Yes, the Accurx app includes biometric and PIN security. To help keep things secure, everyone needs to set up a 6-digit PIN to access the app. You can also turn on biometrics and set that as your default way to unlock the app, which means using your phone’s fingerprint or facial recognition.
If your biometrics are unable to unlock the app, you’ll be asked to enter your PIN instead. If that doesn’t work either, you’ll be able to reset your PIN in the app after fully reauthenticating.
For security reasons, you’ll need to use either your PIN or biometrics to unlock the app after every 15 minutes of inactivity. Please note that if using Accurx Scribe during a consultation that is longer than 15 minutes, this will not count as being inactive.
